Our team of specialist architects, contractors and designers value personal connection and empathy, and we take the time to fully understand our client’s aesthetic preferences and functional needs. We are change-makers, who are accustomed to refurbishing, remodeling and modernizing old houses and companies whether for investors or private clients. We work with our own in-house construction team to manage the projects from start to finish.

Sally Blackshaw
Founder, Director & Head Designer
Sally is the creative force behind Blackshaw. Sally is a graduate of the London Institute, one of the UK’s most prestigious design schools, and has worked for a number of high profile designers from Fendi and Armani Casa to Rashid Din and Lumsden. Her relentless passion for design and extensive technical know-how is backed up by her many years of experience. Sally’s unique and constantly evolving style is shown through her ability to create inviting spaces, with elegant simple features and the use of luxurious soft fabrics and materials. Her desire is to deliver comfortable, personal and stylish spaces that are fully in-keeping with the client’s lifestyle. She puts the consistent growth of the business down to a simple ethos of taking time to understand the clients, as well as perfect execution of the project and attention to detail.
The Team
Andrea
Office Manager & Personal Assistant
Andrea is Sally’s personal assistant, responsible for the day-to-day running of our busy office and interior design showroom. Andrea also works closely with the designers, assisting with quotes and helping with project management. It is Andrea’s job to provide an aftercare service, liaising with our international clients on a daily basis to find out if they require any help prior to and after their interior design and construction projects have been completed.
Candela
Technical Designer
Candela became a part of the Blackshaw team in 2012, bringing with her a wealth of technical expertise. As a certified architect with a background in architecture from a prestigious technical college in Spain, she plays a pivotal role in our projects. Candela serves as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and trades, overseeing all technical aspects with precision. Additionally, she actively contributes to the creative process and assumes responsibility for compiling comprehensive furnishing quotations.
Aliia
Interior Designer
Aliia is a valued member of the Blackshaw team and a certified interior designer. She graduated from the Kazan Technical University and has over two years of experience working in the interior design field around Marbella. She is meticulous in regards to the details of each of her projects and believes that the key to great interior design lies in the fact that there needs to be a mutual connection and understanding between the client and the designer. Allia speaks 4 languages including Russian, English, Spanish and Italian.
Lina Lauritsen
Interior Designer
Lina is a dedicated and hardworking individual who possesses a deep passion and genuine appreciation for the world of interior design and architecture. She prides herself on her meticulous attention to detail. Challenges inspire her and drive her to explore and discover imaginative solutions. She has an innate curiosity for the extraordinary and enjoys learning from various design styles, infusing them with her personal touch as she evolves in the process. Moreover, Lina’s fluency in multiple languages, such as Spanish, English, French, and Arabic, this enables her to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and craft inclusive, unique designs.
Paulina Cielecka
Interior Designer
Paulina is not a typical interior designer; she infuses a touch of scientific precision into the realm of aesthetics. Armed with a Master’s degree in chemistry, she has cultivated a unique outlook on design, seamlessly blending the art of interior design with the exactitude of science. Her designs represent a harmonious marriage of creativity and chemistry, where colors, textures, and materials come together seamlessly. Whether tasked with rejuvenating a weary living space or crafting a cutting-edge workspace, Paulina is dedicated to fashioning environments that inspire and invigorate.
When she’s not engrossed in the creation of stunning interiors, you can find her immersed in the pages of a captivating novel or embarking on exploratory journeys through travel. Both reading and travel serve as catalysts for her creativity, allowing her to infuse fresh perspectives into her design work.
