Christmas time is quickly approaching and 2020 is coming to an end. At this time, we would like to look back at the highlights of this unpredictable yet successful year for Blackshaw.
The team was really excited to have gained two new members this year. Monika joined us as an experienced interior designer and a project manager. Originally from Poland, she has high expertise in working with fabrics. Milda also joined the team this year as a senior project manager. Originally from Lithuania, Milda is skilled in spacial planning and furniture distribution. We are grateful to have these two talented designers on board who have expanded our team.
Amongst a few other renovations, one of our property development highlights this year was undoubtedly the open house event of our exclusive project Villa Aerin. This is an elegant villa made up of natural wood and marble finishes distributed on 4 floors. It took our team only 5 months to transform this tired property into a stunning contemporary five-bedroom family home. Hence we are eager to complete more projects like this one in the coming year. Looking after our planet is a priority for us. We continue to stand by our philosophy of acting as carers and protectors of our planet, which we have been reinforcing over the past few years- including no usage of animal products, using sustainable materials and continuing to talk to providers about their packaging and being waste friendly. Holding our title as a green company stays close to the heart of our director and founder-Sally Blackshaw.
Despite the challenging times, we are appreciative that we have been able to work with clients around the world as we are accustomed to working remotely with the help of modern communication tools. As a result, we have had the opportunity to be featured in press, with articles in Exclusive Life as well as Essential Magazine.
As this year comes to an end, we would like to thank you for all your support and encouragement. We look forward to returning next year with even more ideas and concepts to design and create your envisioned dream homes. We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and hope you are able to take a little break this season surrounded by your loved ones at home. Furthermore, as we move into the new year, we wish you all the health, prosperity, love and success in 2021.
